A wealth of information waiting to be discovered in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) index tick. His strong
its action is simple calculation. At any moment, this index represents the number of stocks trading on an uptick minus the number of stocks trading on a downtick. Extreme check readings over 600 May indicate exhaustion temporary purchasing power, while negative readings check on the territory of 800 or more can the point of sale to a climax.
I use these readings throughout the day as an indicator to buy and sell decisions, and to recognize the continuation of the dominant trend. The tick index is broadcast throughout the day for most real-time data providers, including the stock market band that can be seen at the bottom of the screen during the day CNBC-broadcasting time .
The tick index can be enhanced by the use of technical awards of recognition, particularly graphics chandeliers. (See box "The chandelier method.") Although I have used many other technical studies, combining the NYSE index tick chandelier and mapping creates a reliable indicator for signs of turning points of market fellow.
