Yes you gain 20pips for a 40 pips risk. So, worst case, maximal effective trade is 20 in a month, winrate 50% is (10daysx20pips)-(10daysx40pips)=-200pips. Using always 10% of initail monthly margins you lost 20% margin for -200pips. If you don't want to lost 20% of your margin, then try to lower risk by using 1% until 5%.

You should choose one value of TP to put in your order. You should be aware of all the risks, if the TP is more than average range then you mustn't chosen it. Also if you're still losing, do not risk your more money into bigger TP. 1st TP is good, 2nd TP is more risk than 1st TP, 3rd and 4th TP is more risk than 2nd TP. There are another tips to choose TP. And No, you cann't if the robot don't has a option to alert you when there is buy or sell signal, mostly they don't have it. Then you must recoding or adding alert to the robot.
